Washington Wizards 2022 #10 pick Johnny Davis recently discussed his experience in the NBA G League with the Capital City Go-Go and how it has helped him (averaging 18.7 PPG/6.0 RPG/3.3 APG/1.3 SPG/1.3 BPG/50.0% FG during the last three games).

“People discourage the G League a little bit. To me, it’s the second best league in the world right behind the NBA. I took it as an opportunity to develop. People think I got drafted by the Wizards going down to the G League, ‘Oh, that’s regression.’ But it helped me a lot, as you can see. The NBA G League is not for everybody. It’s definitely a very tough league and it definitely allowed me to grow into the player I am.”
