Joel Embiid on what adjustments he made

76ers superstar Joel Embiid had a monster game as he dropped 52 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and dished out 6 assists, helping his team beat the Celtics (103-101).

After the game the 29-year-old center talked about how his team’s spacing allows him to playmake in addition to scoring.

“It’s not necessarily about scoring. It’s about playmaking too,” Embiid said after the game. “Those passes to the corner for PJ… better vision, better passing options. That’s what it comes down to.

“Obviously, it gives me a lot of space. And like I said, so much harder to double that and then in the post, you get doubled in the post, you don’t have a lot of passing options and you don’t have great vision and you got to throw the ball through hands.

“But getting the ball out to the nail and getting doubled, you got a vision of everything and everything is wide open as long as we got the right spacing and everybody’s flat.

“I can see everything, I can see over anyone and you can make plays from the left side, the right side just because you’re in the middle of the floor.”
