Andrew Wiggins has not played a single game since the middle of February and remains out for the Warriors.
Recently it was reported that the 28-year-old small forward has returned to the Bay Area which gave some hope to the team that he may rejoin the squad.
A new report from Anthony Slater of The Athletic suggests that the Dubs believe that Wiggins will return to the team in the coming days.
If that were to happen, the player will still need time to ramp up before he is game ready.
This season the 2022 NBA champion is averaging 17.1 points, 5 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 32.2 minutes per game.
Golden State is currently holding onto the sixth place in the Western Conference but could easily drop in the play-in zone, depending on how the team does over the remaining 3 regular season games.
