Paolo Banchero, the number one pick of 2022 NBA Draft, is playing like he is much older, says Pistons head coach Dwane Casey.
Casey says that 20-year-old rookie is a few years ahead of himself. “You look at him and you’d think he’s a 5-, 10-year vet,” Pistons coach said, via Khobi Price. “And this is his first year. The future is bright for that young man. It’s going to be tough for the league the rest of his career.”
This season Banchero is averaging 20 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 33.8 minutes per game.
