Darvin Ham reacts to Anthony Davis’ big game

Anthony Davis delivered yet another big-time performance as he scored 40 points and grabbed 9 rebounds, leading the Lakers past the Rockets (134-109).

The 30-year-old superstar scored at least 38 point in the last three games and Los Angeles won all of them. Lakers head coach Darvin Ham says that Davis is really focused at this point of the season.

“Just coming out with a focus, a sense of urgency, the energy, the effort,” Ham said about AD. “We always we want to get stronger as the season gets stronger and be playing our best basketball at the right time.

“Well, the time is definitely right and everybody’s in a good rhythm, starting with him first and foremost. He understands wholeheartedly what we need him to do and he’s coming out and trying to do that on individual basis.

“Playing within himself, playing the game the right way. Really not trying to force anything and definitely not settling, just being in attack mode the entire time. It’s great. That energy and that rhythm is trickling down to the rest of our roster.”

The Lakers (40-38) remain in the seventh place in the Western Conference, but they can still climb up to even the fifth place over the remaining four games.
