Kevin Durant: “I don’t care about legacy”

Kevin Durant has been subject to criticism by some of NBA legends such as Charles Barkley who called the superstar a ‘bus rider’ on several occasions.

The criticism stems from the fact that KD left the Thunder to join the Warriors, the that defeated him in the Western Conference finals the year before.

Even though Durant won two titles in Golden State, Barkley thinks that it hurts his legacy because he joined the team that was already championship-caliber and had a superstar in Steph Curry.

But the 34-year-old forward is not thinking about his legacy. “I don’t care about legacy. I used to…I truly just want to go out there and produce,” he said, via Shams Charania.

“You move the goalpost every time, you expect the most out of me and if I don’t reach it I’m a failure. It’s like, what’s the problem?” the two-time NBA champion added.
