Mavericks’ rookie Jaden Hardy has been on roll lately. The 20-year-old guard has scored 20 or more points six times in March so far.
Most recently he had 20 points along with 4 rebounds and 4 assists in the win over the Pacers. His progress has impressed Luka Doncic.
“Since the beginning of the season I saw his potential. Even in the preseason,” Doncic said about Hardy. “He had to learn a little bit about basketball, playing the right way.
“But his improvement to the season was insane, just understanding basketball-wise. And like I said last time, he’s going to be a great player.”
This season Hardy is averaging 8.8 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 14.6 minutes per game.
