Mike Budenholzer: “I thought we lost shooters too much”

The Bucks, the first team to clinch a playoff spot this season, lost against the Pacers, a team just below the play-in zone (123-139).

Milwaukee’s head coach Mike Budenholzer thought after the game that his players overcommitted to guarding players driving to the basket and let Indiana’s shooters open.

“It wasn’t very good,” Budeholzer said about his team’s three-point defense. “I thought we lost shooters too much. I think that’s probably the thing…I think just too much help on penetration, areas where we’re trying to work and get better. And we’ll learn from it.”

Despite the loss, the Bucks remained atop the Eastern Conference, two games ahead of the Celtics.
