Report: Kevin Durant wearing a walking boot after nasty sprain ankle

Kevin Durant is reportedly wearing a walking boot on the left foot he injured this Tuesday, per Duane Rankin of the Arizona Republic. Durant was shut down by the Phoenix Suns on his potential home debut for the club after slipping in his pregame work vs. Oklahoma City Thunder.

This may give a negative sign for the Suns’ fans. Durant took over two months to recover from his MCL sprain before making his official debut as a Sun last week.

The franchise could also further intensify their precautionary measures for the superstar as they move along, with the season continuing to get nearer to the postseason stage.

Despite the sudden absence of Durant, Devin Booker easily carried the Suns to a 132-101 dominant win over the Thunder with his 44 markers.
