Russell Westbrook remained in Los Angeles after the Lakers traded to the Jazz as he agreed to a buyout with his new team and then signed with the Clippers.
Lakers head coach Darvin Ham, who reportedly had a heated exchange with Russ during his final game for the Purple and Gold, was asked to share his thoughts about Westbrook joining the Clippers.
“Well, I’ll just say this – I appreciate Russ for everything he tried to do for us, for sacrificing, for complying with my vision of him coming off the bench and having a more balanced lineup. I wish him well going forward. That’s it,” Ham said.
