The Indiana Pacers shooting guard Tyrese Haliburton shared some of his thoughts on the Dallas Mavericks’ duo of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving:
“We haven’t played Dallas yet, but obviously, those are two of the toughest one-on-one covers in the league. And those two together present something very, very, very interesting. And it’ll be tough for people to figure it out. And I think what’s underrated about those two is I think they both can play off the ball. Kyrie has done it before. Luka hasn’t had to do it yet, but I mean, he’s one of the highest IQ guys in the league, so he’ll figure it out.”
Which one do you want to guard?: “Neither. I’m going to be in a gap, so I’m trying to get my rebounds to push.”
