When it comes to Lakers’ offense, Anthony Davis is usually one of the two top contributors. However, during the game against the Warriors, the 29-year-old forward focused on different things.
AD scored just 13 points, but grabbed 16 rebounds and also blocked 3 shots. After the game Davis said that it was his goal for the game.
“I shifted my mindset to the defensive end,” he said. “Refs going to miss calls just how we miss shots and turn it over and everything. I just wanted to go out there and get every rebound and block every shot. That was just my mindset just shifted.
“Other guys stepped up D-Lo, Dennis, Vando played well, Austin, Rui all these guys just stepped up and made big plays. I just wanted to go out and contribute in another way.”
