The Clippers have been mentioned as one of the teams showing interest in Kyrie Irving after the 30-year-old point guard requested to be traded by the Nets.
Not only are they interested in the 2016 NBA champion, but it seems they are serious about bringing him to Los Angeles.
According to Law Murray of The Athletic, the Clippers made a strong offer to the Nets for Irving. The fact that the team is coached by Ty Lue, who helped the superstar win his only NBA ring, should be an appeal for the player.
