The Dallas Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic hit 2 big 3-pointers and his team topped the Los Angeles Lakers 119-115 in 2OT on Thursday night. After the game, Doncic shared his thoughts on the Lakers’ defensive approach on his step-back 3 to send the game to OT:
“I was a little bit surprised. I don’t know why they didn’t (send a double-team). I thought they were going to foul, honestly. But I tried to get (the shot off) before they fouled.”
