Kendrick Nunn compares his season start to now: “Night and day”

Kendrick Nunn scored season-high 23 points after coming off the bench to play 27 minutes in the Lakers win over the Hawks (130-114).

The player, who missed the entire 2021-2022 NBA season due to an injury, is averaging just 11.6 minutes per game, which is significant drop compared to his two season in Miami where he averaged almost 30 minutes per game.

Nunn says that he feels much better than he did at the start of the season and is waiting for his opportunities to come in play.

“Night and day,” the 27-year-old point guard said, per Mike Trudell. “Just trying to figure out spots on the floor, chemistry and things like that. I’ve been watching a lot (from the bench) … and opportunity knocks … I’m ready.”

This season Nunn is averaging 5.4 points, 1.1 rebounds and 0.8 assist per game.
