Steph Curry participates in first 5-on-5 practice with Warriors since injuring shoulder

Stephen Curry participated in the Golden State Warriors’ five-on-five practice this Friday.

This serves as the first participation of Curry on active team activities for the Warriors since sustaining a left shoulder injury in mid-December against the Indiana Pacers.

Wearing an arm sleeve, Curry wasted no time in continuing to make progress in his return from recovery as soon as possible.

“It felt good,” Curry said, via C.J. Holmes of the San Francisco Chronicle. “I feel like I haven’t lost too much in terms of conditioning in terms of understanding what 5-on-5 is like.”

The Warriors have already made it known that they are looking to re-evaluate Curry’s condition this weekend. This serves as a stepping stone in their hopes for him to be back on next Friday against the San Antonio Spurs.

Before going down with the injury, Curry is averaging superb numbers, registering 30.0 points, 6.8 assists, and 6.0 boards for the Dubs.

The defending champs, on their part, are doing great and have already made a climb as an eight-seed with 20-19 in the Western Conference.
