Steve Kerr: “Our margin for error gets slimmer as the season goes on”

The Warriors were beaten heavily by the Nets (113-143) for their second loss in a row. It was the seventh loss in nine games for Golden State.

As the season progresses, the Dubs remain far from being an elite NBA team. The reigning champions are currently in the 11th place in the Western Conference.

Despite the difficulties, head coach Steve Kerr is confident that his team can turn things around. At the same time he admits that the margin for error gets slimmer.

“Our margin for error gets slimmer as the season goes on…we’ve got to make a run here at some point,” Kerr said, per Kerith Burke. “And we’re confident that we can do that but with this kind of start…you’re really vulnerable later on if you get another injury or something.”
