Luka Doncic breaks 39-year-old Mavericks record

Luka Doncic reached another record last night against the Cavaliers. The Slovenian superstar finished the game with 30 points and it was his 35th straight game where he scored 20+ points.

He set a new record for a Mavericks player. Previously, Mark Aguirre held the record for the most 20-plus-point games with 34. He achieved that during the 1983-1984 season.

Unfortunately for Doncic, the Mavs were defeated by the Cavs 90-105.

This season Doncic is averaging 33.1 points, 8.6 rebounds and 8.8 assists in 36.8 minutes per game for Dallas. He is currently the second in scoring in the NBA behind Joel Embiid (33.3 points per game).
