Dallas Mavericks’ star Luka Doncic expressed his disappointment after a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 4, acknowledging that he feels like he’s letting Kyrie Irving down.
Despite Doncic’s valiant effort with 29 points and Irving’s impressive 40-point performance, the Clippers managed to even the first-round playoff series at 2-2.
“I just got to help him more. I feel like I’m letting him down. I got to be there. I got to help him more. He’s giving everything that he has. He’s been amazing for us the whole series,” Doncic said about Irving after the game.
Paul George and James Harden led the Clippers’ scoring onslaught, overshadowing the Mavericks’ dynamic duo.
As the series shifts back to Los Angeles for Game 5, Doncic and Irving face mounting pressure to bounce back and regain control.
