Jaylen Brown: “I wouldn’t even look at this right now as adversity”

Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown isn’t looking at the group’s last two road losses vs. the Golden State Warriors & Los Angeles Clippers as adversity, instead saying they simply played average basketball.

(via CLNS Media):

Reporter: “Jaylen, you’re not gonna go through an 82 game season without a little bit of adversity. Is this a time to kinda steel yourselves for what you hope is ahead in the long run in terms of playoffs later in the year?”

Brown: “I would say so. I wouldn’t even look at this right now as adversity. We lost 2 games to two teams that played really good basketball. We played average. That’s what happens when you play average, you lose. We’re gonna have ups and downs and adversities, and I am looking forward to responding to those moments. We just gotta come out and play with some urgency. We gotta come out and play like we’re at the bottom of the pack and not the top, and I think we will be a little bit better.”
