Kristaps Porzingis has found his spot on the Wizards after getting traded to the team last year. The 27-year-old center is one the two main stars for Washington.
He has one more year left on his current five-year contract. The 2023-2024 season is a player option and it is expected that KP will either opt in or sign an extension.
According to Eric Pincus of Bleacher Report, rival executives believe that the Latvian star will remain in Washington after this season.
This season Porzingis is averaging close to his career high – 22.4 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 32.6 minutes per game.
