Toronto Raptors big man Precious has a partial ligament tear in his right knee, the team announced on Thursday. He will wear a walking boot for the next 10 days.
He is set to be out on an indefinite timetable, as his progress of recovery will be updated once available.
Achiuwa prematurely left the Raptors’ 116-109 home victory over the Houston Rockets on Wednesday. He was aided by his teammates as he took an untimely exit.
In his third season in the NBA, Achiuwa is currently averaging 8.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per 20.4 minutes across 12 games.
