LeBron James leaves Lakers-Clippers match early with leg soreness

Superstar LeBron James took an unwanted premature exit from the Los Angeles Lakers’ 114-101 loss against the L.A. Clippers on Wednesday.

James was located limping as he walked out of the court, seemingly grabbing his right groin with less than six minutes left in the final frame.

In the postgame, it was determined that James sustained a left leg soreness. Head coach Darvin Ham reiterated that the severity of the injury can only be determined once he gets examined by team doctors on Thursday.

Before his leave, James willed his team as he posted up a robust 30 points on 12-for-22 shooting, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals in 32 minutes against the Clippers.

The Lakers continue to erode down the standings with a 2-9 card, one loss away from filling the worst record of the season to start.
