Kevin Durant: “Get used to my turnovers”

Following the firing of Steve Nash, the Nets hosted the Bulls at Barclays Center. It was the visitors who got the win (108-99).

Kevin Durant led Brooklyn with 32 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists in 38 minutes of play. The two-time NBA champion also had 7 turnovers.

According to the superstar, his turnovers should not surprise anyone because of how much pressure the opposing defenses put on him.

“Every night I’m gonna be guarded by five players so I’m gonna turn the ball over… The whole team is gonna guard me throughout the whole season, so get used to my turnovers,” KD said after the game, per Erik Slater.

This season Durant is averaging 32.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 37.7 minutes per game.
