Boston Celtics All Star Jayson Tatum discussed his relationship with new head coach Joe Mazzulla after Tuesday’s 126-117 opening night win over the Philadelphia 76ers.
(Via CLNS Media):
“You could always see that Joe had all the makings of being a head coach someday. He was always very motivated. Relatively young, so he’s got a lot of passion. And he’s just an overall good person. As much as I do on the court, he cares about the things I do off the court. We’ve had a great relationship ever since he’s been here. I swear I ain’t crying, I got something in my eye (laughs). So it’s only going to continue to grow as we grow in our careers together and hopefully win a lot of games.”
