The Charlotte Hornets shooting guard James Bouknight was found unconscious in a parking deck around 12:44 AM, according to a police report obtained by TMZ Sports.
The report also indicates Bouknight had a 40MM gun, a Glock 23, with him at the time of the arrest. The report doesn’t specify whether the gun was legal or illegal.
Bouknight, the 11th pick in the 2021 NBA draft, played sparingly as a rookie last season. In 31 appearances, he averaged 4.6 points and 1.7 rebounds in 9.8 minutes per game.
