Jake Layman will get a chance to earn a spot in the NBA for the next season as he will reportedly sign a training camp deal with the Celtics, according to Bobby Manning of CLNS Media.
The 28-year-old small forward spent the last three of his six NBA seasons thus far with the Timberwolves. Last season he played 34 games averaging 2.4 points, 1.1 rebounds and 0.3 assists in 6.8 minutes per game.
