Jae’Sean Tate completed his second year in the NBA with the Rockets. The player who entered the league undrafted saw his role grow even further as he started 77 of 78 games that he played.

Tate tends to argue with the referees and it shows in his stats. He led Houston in technical fouls with 11. It was the 24th highest number in the league.

“Go out there and do what I do, control what I can control,” the 25-year-old small forward said, via Mark Berman. “Try not to be so hard on the refs this year. That’s one of my big things I got circled and just be a leader. Try to help anyway coach needs me.”

This past season Tate averaged 11.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 26.4 minutes per game for the Rockets.
