Amid their current frontcourt slate overload within the lineup, the Houston Rockets have considerations on Boban Marjanovic.

As reported by league insider Marc Stein, the club is expected to have room for the seven-foot-three giant in their roster heading to the upcoming season.

League sources say that the Rockets, as it stands, are still operating under the belief that Boban Marjanović has a place on their Opening Night roster despite an apparent frontcourt logjam.

Stein further detailed that Marjanovic will share reserved center minutes with Bruno Fernando and the newly-signed Willie Cauley-Stein behind the starting Alperen Sengun.

Together with Trey Burke, Marquese Chriss, Sterling Brown and draft rights to Wendell Moore Jr., Marjanovic was shipped to Houston by the Dallas Mavericks for big man Christian Wood this offseason.

Upon arriving in the NBA in 2015 after decorated stints overseas, Marjanovic has become a league fan-favorite due to his jolly demeanor and calming presence.

Playing in San Antonio, Detroit, L.A. Clippers, Philadelphia and Dallas, the 34-year-old Serbian has an NBA career average of 5.9 markers, 3.8 boards and over 57 percent shooting in 286 total games.
