Scotty Pippen Jr. is yet to play a single official game for the Lakers main team, but he has already received support from the team’s superstar LeBron James.
“The kid has a bright future!!” the four-time NBA champion tweeted in response to Pippen’s Summer League highlights. The 21-year-old point guard, who is a son of the Bulls legend Scottie Pippen, represented the purple and gold during this year’s Summer League.
Pippen went undrafted this summer, but will have a chance to earn his spot in the NBA after signing a two-way contract with the Lakers.
