Jason Kidd on Game 4: “We can’t get ahead of ourselves. It’s still 3-1”

The Mavericks will travel to San Francisco for Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals against the Warriors. By winning Game 4 Dallas avoided a sweep and now trails 3-1 in the series.

Jason Kidd believes that his team should take one game at a time and not get ahead of itself after earning their first win in this series.

“We believe that it’s just one game at a time,” Kidd said postgame. “We did our part tonight. We found our way to win. The next part is to find a way to win on the road. Again, we can’t get ahead of ourselves. It’s still 3-1.

“We’re now going to Golden State. It’s a tough place to win, but we’ve won there before. We just have to continue to take care of the ball, make shots.”
