Jason Kidd on Warriors: “They’ve got to play zone because they can’t play us one on one”

The Mavericks managed to extend the Western Conference Finals series by winning Game 4 (119-109) and preventing a sweep. According to Dallas head coach Jason Kidd, Golden State is unable to guard his players one on one.

His team took advantage of that in Game 4 by shooting more threes. Luckily for the Mavs, their shots were falling in as they made 20/43 threes against the Dubs’ 10/28.

“The biggest compliment we’ve gotten is that they got to play zone because they can’t play us one on one,” Kidd said after Game 4. “This is a championship DNA team and they’re giving you a compliment that they can’t guard you. It’s pretty cool.

“They’re winning the series, but we believe that we can continue to keep getting shots that we got. If we make them, it puts pressure on them.
