Stephen Curry is supportive on Steve Kerr’s convincing stand about the heartbreaking Robb Elementary School mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas.

In the post-game of the Golden State Warriors-Dallas Mavericks Game 4 West Finals clash, Curry expressed an uplifting appreciation of his mentor’s perspective about the tragedy (via 95.7 The Game).

“I appreciate his leadership. It was on everybody’s mind coming into the game. It was hard to stay focused, going out and playing basketball.”

Kerr went viral after having an emotional rant ahead of the Game 4 match, expressing his frustration on the unjust killings across the United States and the lack of action amongst the senators about the presence and usage of firearms.

Before the Mavs and the Dubs started their Game 4 tip-off, a moment of silence was made inside the American Airlines Center to give condolences and tribute to the fallen victims of the unfortunate event.

The incident occurred on Tuesday after an 18-year-old high school student shot and killed 18 elementary school children and two adults. This has been the current focal point of conversations in the U. S., pushing locals and personalities from different fields to call for justice and an end towards gun violence.
