LaVine, Caruso listed as out in Bulls’ G5 clash vs Bucks

The Chicago Bulls will deal with a huge blow on trying to keep their season alive, as Zach LaVine and Alex Caruso are officially out in Game 5 of their best-of-seven first-round series against the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday.

With the report, the Bulls are now heavily decimated on their backcourt slate. On Monday, LaVine was shelved in the NBA’s health and safety protocols, while Caruso remains under monitoring for his concussion.

DeMar DeRozan and Nikola Vucevic will now share a much heavier load in trying to push the series back to Windy City. Also, the team will look more into the production of their young guards in Ayo Dosunmu and Coby White with the absence of the two.

In the first playoff appearance in his career, LaVine is averaging 19.3 points, 6.0 assists, 5.3 boards in 42 percent field efficiency. Meanwhile, the ever-reliable Caruso has 6.3 markers and 4.3 boards for the Bulls this series.

The Bucks do hold a 3-1 cushion in the playoff matchup. If ever the defending champs clinch the victory, they will eliminate the Bulls while setting a second round face-off against the waiting red-hot Boston Celtics.
