JJ Redick sides with Timberwolves for the Play-In win celebration

The Play-In game between the Timberwolves and Clippers which was won by Minnesota created a lot of buzz on social media. But mostly for what happened after the game.

Specifically, it was the T-Wolves, led by Patrick Beverley, celebrating the victory which opened them the door the playoffs. Some people thought it was over the top while others were in full support.

Former NBA player JJ Redick thinks that mocking Minnesota and its fans is wrong, especially since it is considered okay to celebrate NCAA teams winning single knock out game.

“Why do we celebrate NCAA tourney teams winning a one and done scenario but gonna mock NBA players and their fans for doing the same…seems wrong to me,” Redick tweeted.
