The Golden State Warriors have been without their superstar Steph Curry since mid-March due to a sprained ligament in his left foot. Without the 34-year-old point guard the Dubs lost five of six games.

Even though the playoffs are just around the corner and Golden State needs wins to secure a higher seed in the Western Conference, Andre Iguodala says Curry’s return should not be rushed.

“One thing we have to do is be smart about how we start to implement guys because Steph’s out, and you can’t replace that,” the Dubs veteran said, per Mark Haynes. “He’s one of the top players ever. You don’t want to rush him back or put too much pressure on him. That’s how you get another injury.”

This season the three-time NBA champion is averaging 25.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and 6.3 assists in 34.5 minutes per game.
