LeBron James scored 31 points as the Lakers fell against the Suns (111-140). The 37-year-old superstar was the top scorer of the game. He received praise from the Suns head coach Monty Williams after the game.
“Scoring 25 points in an NBA game is hard. Ask anybody who hasn’t done it,” Williams said, per ESPN. “To do what he’s done the last few games, I don’t even think about his age anymore. He doesn’t look like he’s closing in on 40. He just looks like LeBron James.”
Phoenix has defeated Los Angeles all three times this season. The two teams will meet again in April for their final encounter this year.
