According to Jovan Buha of The Athletic, the Los Angeles Lakers are waiving forward Sekou Doumbouya to make room to sign forward Wenyen Gabriel to a two-way contract.

Doumbouya got into just two NBA games after signing a two-way deal with the Lakers on January 12.

He played 12 games for the team’s G League affiliate in South Bay, averaging 6.3 points and 4.8 rebounds in 20 minutes per night.
