Ime Udoka after Celtics’ loss vs. Pistons: “It’s going to leave a sour taste for sure”

The Celtics had their nine-game winning streak ended by the Pistons, a team with one of the worst records in the NBA. Boston’s head coach Ime Udoka admitted that it was a tough loss to take but was optimistic about the future of his team.

“It’s going to leave a sour taste for sure, but we look back at some of the things we did well during the streak,” Udoka said, per Bobby Manning. “… what I did tell them was congrats on what we’ve done … think about what we’ve got coming forward.”

With 34 wins and 26 losses the Celtics are sixth in the Eastern Conference. Meanwhile, the Pistons (13-45) are second from bottom in the East.
