Real Madrid point guard Carlos Alocen will miss the remainder of the season with a full ACL tear in his left knee, the club announced Monday.

Per Real Madrid’s announcent:

“Following tests carried out on our player Carlos Alocén by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a full tear of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.”

The promising guard was injured during the ACB’s Regular Season Round 22 win vs Unicaja Malaga. Alocen, 21, put up 2.7 points, 1.6 assists, 1.4 rebounds, and 0.3 steals per contest over nine appearances this season in the EuroLeague.

This is the second season for the promising guard with the ‘Los Blancos’, after starting his career with Real Zaragoza. He has already went through another foot injury during the 2021-22 season that limited his appearance with Madrid.
