Lakers newcomer Malik Monk has been averaging 33 minutes per game over the last 5 games. Most recently, the 23-year-old shooting guard started for the purple and gold and had one of the best offensive performances this season, with 22 points in 33 minutes of play.

This was his sixth start this year for the Lakers. After the game, Monk said he is getting more comfortable starting for the team. “Bron, Russ, everybody just making me comfortable, man,” he said.

“Telling me to go, be myself, just putting me in great situations where I can score the ball. Yeah man, I’ getting a little comfortable.”
