NBA, NBPA reach agreement on additonal replacement players for teams

NBA teams will now be able to add replacement players to their respective rosters amidst another Covid-19 outbreak.

As Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported, the NBA and NBPA reached an agreement that will let teams add one replacement player for every player that enters the protocols. The agreement will last until January 19, 2022.

That way, league executives believe teams will have eight players available for every game in order to avoid any game postponements. The NBA has already postponed five games, due to the latest Covid-19 outbreak.
