Chicago Bulls are expected to add veteran forward Alfonzo McKinnie, as the team is struggling with several injuries and COVID-related issues.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Bulls are signing McKinnie via the hardship extension. The Bulls are currently missing seven players with COVID-19 or injuries.

The Bulls have five players in the NBA health and safety protocols, including their superstar forward DeMar DeRozan and off the bench role players, like Coby White and Javonte Green.

McKinnie has played for NBA G League’s Mexico City Capitanes this season, averaging 24.1 PPG and 43.3 percent from the 3-point range.
