At the end of the day, P.J. Tucker will always have a special place in the heart of every single Milwaukee Bucks faithful.

As the Miami Heat visited the Cream City for the second regular season series match against the Bucks on Saturday, all eyes were set on the return of a fan-favorite who served as the solid standard of mental toughness and intensity within the 2020-2021 NBA championship squad.

And that is the 36-year-old veteran P. J. Tucker, who took the whole Bucks team into the next level — injecting further competitive nature and fearlessness as daunting adversities have arrived.

The cheers were loud, and the reception was undeniably heartwarming as a video tribute was even played to commemorate the veteran’s unwavering contributions for the city’s second title since 1971.

After the special presentation, Tucker claimed his very first championship ring from head coach Mike Budenholzer, star swingman Khris Middleton and reigning Finals MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. The smiles were priceless, indeed, as memories of the past glorious run were rewinded.

“Milwaukee, we will always gonna be dogs!”

Though he is now on the other side and helping an arch nemesis in Heat, Milwaukee fans will always have that admiration and respect for Tucker forever. In his brief 125 days of stay in Wisconsin, he captured the hearts of everyone with his fiery attitude and dog mentality.

Unfortunate as it may seem that the Bucks did not retain his service last offseason, Tucker is forever painted as a Milwaukee champion, icon and “Dog” whenever he goes and wherever the rest of his career would go.
