A disastrous third quarter by the Los Angeles Lakers, which they lost 12-40, cost them a win against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

After the game, Russell Westbrook, who had 20 points in the game, was asked why the Lakers tend to have weak third quarters this season.

“I’m not sure,” the point guard said. “I think you can’t put your finger on what it is and what it’s not. Sometimes we come out and be fighting and sometimes we don’t. The inconsistency is a problem. That we don’t know.”
