Clippers extend winning streak to six games; Heat have now lost three straight

The Clippers and the Heat squared off at Staples Center on Thursday, with the former earning the 109-112 home win.

The hosts trailed by as many as 17 in the contest, but turned things around and came close to seal the deal. However, the Heat turned things around and made it an one possession game. Yet, they came up short and failed to earn the victory.

Paul George led the way for the winners, with 27 points. The Clippers now are on a six-game winning streak and improved to 7-4. For their part, the Heat dropped to 7-5 and have now lost three straight. Bam Adebayo had 30 points for Miami, while Kyle Lowry added 25 (22 of them in the fourth quarter).
