Russell Westbrook had nothing but good words to say about his Lakers teammate Carmelo Anthony after the overtime win vs the Hornets.
Westbrook, who had 17 points, 12 rebounds and 14 assists for the Lakers, called Anthony a ‘Hall of Famer’.
“He’s a Hall of Famer. He knows his worth,” Westbrook said about Anthony, who is under a veteran deal with the 17-time NBA champions.
Carmelo Anthony went for 29 points, as the Lakers edged the Hornets in overtime (126-123). The 10-time All-Star is averaging 17.6 points and 3.6 rebounds in 11 games this season, on 50% shooting and 52.2% from beyond the arc.
