Zalgiris Kaunas announces agreement with Tai Webster to replace Emmanuel Mudiay

Zalgiris Kaunas has announced the agreement with Tai Webster, as Emmanuel Mudiay is set to be replaced by the 26-year-old point guard.

The team came to a mutual agreement with Mudiay, while Webster joins Zalgiris until the end of the season. He will arrive in Kaunas on Tuesday to join the team.

Webster spent last season in the Australian basketball league, playing for the New Zealand Breakers. He averaged 17.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.2 steals in 29 minutes, while shooting 38 percent from deep.

During his career, Webster also played for Galatasaray, before joining the New Zealand Breakers. He started his professional career with Fraport Skyliners.
