Pascal Siakam to be sent by Raptors on its G League team

2020 All-star Pascal Siakam has been assigned by the Toronto Raptors to its G League affiliate, the Raptors 905.

Way back on May 8, Siakam suffered from a left shoulder injury which ultimately made him out of playing from the remainder of the last season. Last June 11, the Raptors announced that the torn labrum surgery of the Cameroonian was successful and it will take him approximately five months to recover.

It seems to be that the said assignation is just a part of the rehabilitation process for Siakam moving forward. As Raptors continue to miss his presence as the main weapon, the production of Fred VanVleet, OG Anunoby and Scottie Barnes are much needed to lift the North for contention.

Siakam had an average of 21.4 markers, 7.2 boards, and 4.5 assists in 56 meetings last season.
