Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis, the two stars of the Dallas Mavericks, reportedly were not getting along very well last season. There were reports suggesting that they dislike each other which led to rumors that the Mavs are willing to trade the Latvian forward.
In the end both Doncic and Porzingis remained on the roster and are now getting ready for the 2021-2022 NBA season which starts this week. The topic of relationship between the two stars was given to Dallas’ new head coach Jason Kidd.
“I think KP fell Luka was the first one to be there off the bench to pick him up,” he said. “I think it’s just natural. Their relationship is great. They both are playing the game, they both are having fun, they’re both being artist on the floor. I think it’s really really good.
“It’s the only way I see it. The short time that I’ve been with those two I would have always said there was no problem because those guys are always talking.”
